Our Process
Cummins Group's Founding philosophy is to invest in start-up business models and visionary business leaders that are likely to generate the best ROI for our Investor Council Members. Our Investor Council will consider investment opportunities after Cummins Group has studied each investment opportunity and prepared a Business and Investment Overview (BIO) report. Following a formal review of each BIO, each individual investor of the Investor Council will decide if they wish to participate in the specific investment opportunity. Subsequent to the BIO review, Cummins Group will promptly notify the applicant as to the Investor Council's investment decision.Stage 1: Investment Application
The Investment Application is a standardized document completed by each early-stage company seeking an investment from the Investor Council. The completed Investment Application and Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement are submitted together and can be downloaded by clicking the following links.

Stage 2: Presentation
After reviewing the Investment Application, the applicant may be invited to do an on-site presentation. The presentation will include management team introductions, an overview of the business model, business growth potential and product demonstrations (if applicable).Stage 3: BIO
The BIO report will be created by Cummins Group under the direction of its Chief Operation Officer. It will be comprised of information gathered directly from the applicant's Investment Application and other industry and background information collected as part of Cummins Groups due diligence process.Stage 4: Notification Period
The members of the Investor Council will have 14 days to review and discuss the BIO submitted by Cummins Group. Cummins Group will only submit BIOs on companies that it intends to invest in as a member of the Investor Council.Stage 5: Investment
Based on Investor Council participation and agreement to investment terms, Cummins Group will prepare the necessary investment documents for signature and wire investments directly to the portfolio company.
